How does the design that you created demonstrate your knowledge of Magazine Design and the parts of a magazine cover and interior?

The design I created demonstrated my knowledge of Magazine Design because I used image tracing and vector images to copy their exact magazine. Not copying their exact images, but making an identical magazine that looks like it could’ve been done by the same editor.

In what ways does your magazine connect to the corporate identity of the magazine? What are some design queues that you used from the existing magazine?

Before I had started my project I looked at some People magazines and I was already very familiar with it because it’s my favorite magazine. I used their logo and same style they use when it comes to fonts and whole set up.

How did completing the brainstorming packet and sketches affect your design process? It made my design process faster because I already had everything in my mind, I didn’t need to come up with something quick.

How did you like working with a partner? How do you think working with a partner makes the design process easier and more difficult? I did not have a partner but working without one makes me work way more efficient.

Looking at your partner’s design, if you were to design your partner’s portion by yourself how would it look different? I did not have a partner during this project.

Describe the ideal partner (co-worker / co –designer)?

The ideal partner is someone that can compromise their ideas with you and help you with your struggles if you need it. Also someone who helps you better your design.
